Covid19?
We see the urgent need to help SME's and SMME's in South Africa with the economic fallout from the Covid19 pandemic. Well actually we saw that need before Covid. Given our close relationship to Business Rescue Partner, and our immediate ability to mobilise capital as a fund manager, we have joined forces with key players to help small businesses get through this crisis. We were doing distress before Covid19 and the name of our fund pre-dates our company name change in 2019
Help us to mobilise capital to SMME's and SME's using existing networks of business rescue practitioners. This pool will allow large corporates to assist their eco-systems by pooling capital. We will utilise quick assessment systems to validate need and structure the best finance package.
Fund to ride the storm
We want to help the SME's for 24 months with a combination of funding and strategic input. The Fund will offer back office support for the very small companies.
Various instruments including debt and equity will be offered.
Use technology where possible
We will use technology in our systems for application, funding approval and post deal management in order to adhere to social distancing practice. Business Rescue Partner has ready-to-roll software for this purpose. We will ask our mentors to work with companies via technology.
